I Am Dog

I had an idea for a short story a while ago. It is based off of a dog viewing the world around him on a special day and relating to the reader events from his life that he is reminded of as the day progresses.
It is not a happy story and has made several of the people that already have read it cry. It makes a very distinct and important point about the life we live in.
I wrote it specifically with the intent to publish it as a Kindle Single and will be pursuing that goal this week. I'll let you know how it goes.

Top 100 Lists

I was super excited last week when I noticed that Wielder's Awakening made it onto its first top 100 list on Amazon. Since then Wielder's Awakening has been marching down the list and made it onto some even higher lists. Today it made it onto the top 100 Amazon Best Sellers: Best Fantasy and Amazon Best Sellers: Best Children's Ebooks!
I feel so excited and blessed to see the success that Wielder's Awakening is having and hope that it continues.

Top 100

Sales have been picking up over the last couple of weeks, and I've been excited at the progress. There have also been a couple more reviews that have been very positive. Yesterday I sold the most copies of Wielder's Awakening that I ever have in a day. That was really exciting. And then this morning something amazing happened.
I cracked the Top 100 list for the Science Fiction,Fantasy, & Magic under the Children's Ebooks list! I was at #100 for an hour, dropped off for an hour, and then back on at #98 for another hour. Wielder's Awakening was #3,327 paid in the kindle store!
I'm not on the top 100 list any more, which is sad, but it was really exciting this morning. I am happy to see how close I am to being on the top 100 lists. As long as sales keep increasing like they have been over the last several weeks, I might be able to get back on and stay on the top 100 lists for an extended period of time. That would be awesome!

Yesterday Wielder's Awakening sold its one hundredth copy! Of course, that's not 100,000 copies or 1,000,000 but I couldn't let the milestone pass without mentioning it.
